Biography

Shuyi Wei, Attending Physician in the Department of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery at Peking University People's Hospital. He earned a Ph.D. in Plastic Surgery through a joint training program between Tsinghua University and Harvard University, USA. He has been engaged in clinical and research work in plastic and aesthetic surgery for more than 10 years at Harvard Medical School, the Plastic Surgery Hospital (Badachu) of Peking Union Medical College, and Peking University People's Hospital, and has a profound theoretical foundation and extensive clinical experience. As a principal investigator, he has led 4 research projects, including national-level projects (the National Natural Science Foundation of China). As first author, he has published 20 academic papers in Chinese and English, drafted 3 national and industry standards and 2 expert consensus statements, and participated in the compilation of 4 academic books.
